A90 updates

Hello. I just bought a Foif A90 receiver with bd990 board. The problem that I am facing is that the receiver doesn't lock the beidou satellites when I use ntrip. For example my South G7 with BD990 firmware 6.2 sees 30 satellites and uses 28, my South G1 plus with BD990 firm 6.1 sees 30 satellites and use 28. But Foif A90 sees 30 sat. and use 16......in the same ntrip provider and in the same time and place.

Foifpad .apk doesn't find any updates. I requested updates from the local reseller that I bought it, and they said that foif doesn't have any updates. Now I contacting Foif but they don't seem willing to share any updates.

Does anyone know where find the updates?

Hello! I represent the manufacturer FOIF in Russia. It is a bit strange that you are asking this question on a Russian forum. However, I managed to find out that it is not possible to solve your problem remotely. Unfortunately, there are good objective reasons for this.
According to the information available, you were advised to return the device to the factory for repair. Please contact your seller in Greece if the receiver was purchased from a local seller.

 

Yes today, I got an email from Foif. They said that I can return the receiver for an overhaul. It seams very weird to me, to send it back in china for just an update.

Sadly this is the only forum ( that I have for) with so many informations around gnss and total station technology .
