Hello everyone, Very nice forum! Congratulations. Excuse me if my questions are in inappropriate place, but it seems to me I can find some answers and advises here. I don’t find forums like this for Ukrainian surveyors so: I want to know more about the official state geodetic network in Ukraine? Specifically property (cadastral) plans for rural areas. In what coordinate system are they created? How can I find parameters of this CS like datum, projection, additional parameters, etc.? And the main question is how can I convert local coordinates to WGS84 geographic coordinates? Do I need specific software or can use any conventional? We need to extract some boundary data for the plots, upload it in simple navigation and go to the spot or first view it in GoogleEart. I’m from Bulgaria and here we have official CS named “1970g.”. All cadastral data is created and maintaining in this system. The problem is that some of parameters are “secret” until now and the conversion 1970<->WGS84 is a problem. We have specific methods and specific software. You can’t just import it in AutoCAD MAP or Global Mapper, or other software and choose CS! Thank you in advance for your cooperation! P.S. I understand most of the writings (99%) in Russian, but it’s hard to me to write or speak.

Какъв е проблема с езика? Задължителни ли е да се пише на Руски? Ами ако не го владея и не искам да се доверявам на автоматични преводачи? Мисля, че съвсем правилно и точно съм формулирал въпроса!
