Connecting South Trimble board Gnss Receivers with Winflash

It is not possible as I know.....

Request from your dealer the new firmware, then you can flash it at your receiver through the web interface 10.1.1.1

 

i already have flashed the fw through the web interface but i need to check the gnss board options and fw warranty date

 

You can access winflash with south receiver but you need special service program that we won't be able to provide. I can estimate Trimble warrany date by serial number of your receiver. You can check if maxpro option is enabled by checking version of trimble firmware. If your version is 6XX that means that maxpro option is enabled.
Also south receivers have two versions of firmware: south firmware and oem (trimble) firmware. Which one did you update?

 

OEM. v 616. you may ask where did i find this firmware :p
I constructed the fw .img file from the original trimble .timg file and uploaded to the receiver.

 

How, great job!!!! From November we are still waiting from the south to release the 6.16.......

 

South didn't even release 6.14

 

Well, I finally did it.
It is possible to connect the board to the receiver's serial port if you pass the appropriate command.
Then winflash can connect directly to the trimble board.

Insert the update code first. Then reboot and upload the firmware img file
