Hi
I have Sokkia set 4220 total station and when I turn it on I get massage to enter date but I can't do it. Can anyone help me with this problem. Here is picture in attachment.

Hi geobih, it looks like internal battery is dead. May be main board is dead. You should check it in repair center. Spare parts for it no longer available.

We don't have sokkia repair center, but I have good electrician and he can replace internal battery. Do you on which side of the instrument is internal battery and type of internal battery?

 

geobih, remove the processor board, locate the battery on it. Measure the voltage on it and compare with the nominal. Your electronics engineer will be able to buy the same and replace it.

geobih, it is possible that there is no capacity in it. better replace. either do factory setap.
